Rev. David J Plumridge B.D.

David trained at Moorlands College in 1968.  After serving as pastor at a church in London, he came to Fishponds Baptist Church in September 1993.  Since then he has taken the church forwards, under God’s direction and has recently seen and developed a new leadership structure following the Purpose Driven Church model.

He is married to Maureen and they have four children.  He is also an avid fan of steam locomotives and Formula 1.

Rev. Darren Smith

Darren trained at Bristol Baptist College and became the associate pastor in June 2009.  He has a particular responsibility for the youth work in the church.  Darren has a passion for seeking new and fresh ways of taking the gospel outside of the church building and into the local community.  He previously worked for 10 years as a freelance IT trainer.

He is married to Karen.  He is a rugby fan (Bristol, of course!!) who enjoys any activity outside, especially caving.
