Safeguarding at Fishponds Baptist Church

What is safeguarding?

Safeguarding is the practice and procedures we undertake in our church with the aim of providing safe environments for all as well as for the protection of adults, young people and children from harm, abuse or neglect.

At Fishponds, we are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. As a church, we have safeguarding processes in place to ensure the safety of young people and vulnerable adults.

Everyone who works with children, young people or vulnerable adults at Fishponds undertakes a DBS Check and regular safeguarding training.

Our Safeguarding Officers are the first people to speak to if you have any concerns around the welfare of a child or an adult at risk.  If you do have any concerns about children, young people and adults at risk, please contact our safeguarding team using the e-mail below.
